All mortars in similar caliber used by the various armies are represented by 120mm Mortar in FHSW.
120-PM-38 and 120-PM-43[]
Also known as the M1938. It was an effective weapon, a decent combination of relative light weight, mobility and firepower. Was captured and copied widely and has been used even in the 21th century.
The 120-PM-43 was an improvement first issued in 1943. It resembles the 120mm Mortar ingame more.
12 Granatwerfer[]
The 12 cm GrW 42 was developed in 1942 as a heavier, close support mortar. The similar Russian PM 38 in 120 mm was captured in significant quantities on the Eastern Front and was immediately pressed into service. After research, this 120mm Mortar was based on the Russian M1938 120mm (120-HM 38) mortar. Because of the greater weight of the GrW 42 (280 kilograms or 620 pounds) a two wheeled axle was utilized, enabling the mortar to be towed into action.
