While most frag grenades act the the same in FHSW including the other Hungarian grenade, the 42M. this is the only frag grenade that is an impact grenade instead of having a fuse.
Hand grenade that was used in the greatest number by the Hungarian Army during the war. It detonates on impact like the RPG-43 but does high damage against infantry and in a greater radius.
When used by Italy on certain maps it is most likely intended to be the Bomba a mano O.T.O. Modello 35, the standard hand grenade of the Italian army which both is similar in appearance and also detonates on impact, unlike most standard issue hand grenades.
The Finnish military made an order for 300.000 of these grenades which was the largest order of grenades during the Winter War but most of them arrived too late and would then be used in the continuation war until the summer of 1944 where it was withdrawn from service due to unreliability. The design was copied by Switzerland which adopted one like it as the OHG 40.
