The 3cm Flak 38/103 Jaboschreck was Germany's answer to Allied air supremacy. The 2cm Flak 38 was no longer of much use unless multiplied by four in a quad mount, and so Germany turned to Rheinmetall in 1944 to produce the 3cm Flak 38/103 based on MK 103 aircraft cannon that can be found in various German planes in FHSW. It only went into production in small numbers before the end of hostilities, but it was actually planned to use it in the Flakpanzer IV "Kugelblitz", which never materialized. Another project was the 3 cm Flakvierling 103 that mimicked the 2 cm Flakvierling 38 and was the armament of the Flakpanzer IV "Zerstörer 45".
There is also a variant using the same wheeled carriage as the Flak 30, which means it is mobile but has a limited traverse, making it harder to engage aircraft.
"Jabo" is slang for fighter-bomber, the nickname of this gun is similar to that of the Panzerschreck.
