The Imperial Japanese Navy raids the American Airbase on Adak Island in the Aluetian islands. Take part in the raid as either the American defenders or the Japanese Raiders. This level features the use of Air, Ground, and Sea units, and was designed by Jim "Rad" Rogers.
Equipment[]
The Japanese fleet consists of IJN Junyo, IJN Hatsuzuki, Tsurumi and No.101-class landing ship. The US have USS Independence(CVL-22), USS Gridley (DD-380) and Elco 80 stationed at the island.
Bases[]
MtAdagdak[]
A remote base northeast of the airbase. There is a Defgun and AA gun which can also engage ground targets coming up on the road to the base and some light vehicles.
Airbase[]
The Airbase is the main base of the US forces. Bomber aircraft, fighers and armoured vehicles are available even for the Japanese if they take it. There are beaches on the west and east cost, both are covered by Defgun with coverage across each bay.
Commando Station Hill[]
Commando station hill is in the center of island and overlooking the Airbase. A Defgun is overlooking the bay to the west.
Mountain Pass[]
The Mountain Pass is a small base in mountains in the southwest. There is a repair platform, light vehicles and a AA gun. The mountains shield the location from both naval bombardment and coastal landings.
Cape Kagigikak[]
A small base with a pier. This base is the closest to Japanse starting location. There is a repair platform and vehicles.
Did You Know That? While Attu and Kiska of the Aleutian islands were fought over there was no battle for Adak during World War II. The map was created however, since Adak is the hometown of Jim "Rad" Rogers, one of the FH developers, who past away on April 8th, 2010. |
