Intended as a replacement to the Jagdpanzer 38, the E-10 is a improvement most notably in speed and in an lower profile making it harder to spot. It being able to lower and raise itself from 140cm to 176cm. It was part of the Entwicklung series of late German tank designs of five different weight classes. Along with this model of the E-10 there are in FHSW two versions of the E-25.

While it has the same main gun as the Hetzer it fires the more powerful HEAT-FS rounds. The secondary armaments are also quite different compared to the Jagdpanzer 38 (t). Instead of a standard MG34 it has an Stg 44 with a 90° krummlauf barrel extension pointing outside the turret and a nahverteidigungswaffe, a grenade launcher effective against infantry at close range. The vehicle is unique in that both these secondary weapons are controlled from the same seat.
Frontal armour is similar to the Jagdpanzer 38, but the vehicle as a whole is shaped more like a box which means shots anywhere but the front can easily penetrate and prove fatal if powerful enough. Although spaced armour on the sides may absorb HEAT rounds from tank guns or projectiles from the M1 Bazooka or M18 recoilless rifle.
