The Eagles Nest or the Kehlsteinhaus is a house built for top ranking officals in the nazi party. It was rumored it would be defended and serve as part of an national redoubt.
The Eagles Nest was first featured in the Battlefield 1942 Secret Weapons of WWII expansion. In FHSW a custom map version set in 1945 has been made and the official one is set in 1946

The map was revamped from the official expansion Battlefield 1942:Secret Weapons of WWII and released in version 0.6 of FHSW. The US have access to paratroopers, they may both drop off at a fixed location in the vicinity of the village or call in a Douglas C-47 "Skytrain" that flies across the map.

Eagles Nest 1945 was previously part of the FHSW EU map pack but it was removed when the map pack was made into a minimod. The 1945 version was made by Xenanab.
