FMW35

The Flammenwerfer 35 (FMW.35) was a flamethrower portable and driven by a soldier. It was using compressed nitrogen to launch flammable liquid to a distance of 30 meters. Despite the teams armed with this weapon were extremely vulnerable, since the container of flammable liquid was exposed to enemy fire, it was very effective. The Model 35 was a modified version of the German flamethrower used in the First World War. The weapon as a whole weighed 35.8 kg, with a capacity of 11.8 liters of Flammöl 19 (a mixture of petrol) and a range of about 25 meters. The Flammenwerfer was used to clean the bunkers, trenches and other confined spaces, where the fire blazed exterminating enemies. It was used for the first time on the Eastern Front between the soldiers of the Sixth Army for the execution of military and civilian Russians.

The Flammenwerfer 35 was produced until 1941, when the lighter, slightly redesigned Flammenwerfer 41 began replacing it.

Ingame, flamethrower model is the same for Germany, United States and Japan, the only difference is the name (FMW35, M2-2 and Type 100 flamethrower respectively). The FMW35 is sometimes in Soviet kits. The fact that flame jet bounces off the obstacles can be used to clean up insular areas, like trenches or bunkers effectively. Also effective against armoured vehicles, but take into account that damage done is reduced if armour isn't hit directly.
