Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon is a Japanese Submod continuing where the German Battlefield 1942 Mod Forgotten Hope left off.
It started as a small Minimod for Forgotten Hope. The original intention was to bring some eccentric weapons that were planned like the Ratte tank, the rare wz.38M rifle or the late battleship HMS Lion to FH. However after 5 years of development, Forgotten Hope Secret Weapons became the biggest mod for Battlefield 1942 with dozens of improvements for the 'old' Forgotten Hope version 0.7! FHSW gives you more than 600 new pieces of equipment, new physics (ricocheting bullets and towable artillery), besides modified FH maps there are even more maps involving 13 nations including the new nations Hungary and the Netherlands. Though, the majority of equipment and maps are about five major nations, the USA, USSR, Great Britain, Germany and Japan. There are atleast 690 vehicles are available originating from BF1942, FH, FHT, FHSW, Hungarian Front and many more mods. Atleast 138 maps are actively played, not including the many custom maps also played on servers. The main theme of the mod is World War II and alternate history relating to it. Although the Second World War ended in 1945 after the Japanese surrender, FHSW also features hypothetical battles such as Operation Coronet and The Forgotten Jungle depicting continued Japanese resistance, fights between the Allies and the Soviet Union after the defeat of the axis powers or the German invasion of London that was feared during the first years of the war. The maps take place anywhere in the world: the Pacific Campaign, Western Front, Eastern Front, North African Campaign, Invasion of Germany, Burma Campaign, Italian front, Battles in Finland, Seawar on the Atlantic, the Singapore Campaign, Alpine battles and the invasion of the United States. From infantry and tank units to mighty fleets at sea and in the air. It is all possible at the same time in FHSW! And some of them you've never heard before! We welcome you on our Wikipedia! Please join this small world because when this one is over, there will be no second one! Because FHSW is the best mod ever! Its gameplay you will never see again! |

Did You Know That?

The Heinkel He 111 was a German aircraft designed by Siegfried and Walter Günter in the early 1930s in violation of the Treaty of Versailles. Often described as a "Wolf in sheep's clothing", it masqueraded as a transport aircraft, though its actual purpose was to provide the Luftwaffe with a fast medium bomber. Perhaps the best-recognised German bomber due to the distinctive, extensively glazed, bullet-shaped "greenhouse" nose of later versions, the Heinkel was the most numerous and the primary Luftwaffe bomber during the early stages of World War II. It fared well until the Battle of Britain, when its weak defensive armament, relatively low speed, and poor manoeuvrability were exposed. Nevertheless, it proved capable of sustaining heavy damage and remaining airborne.
