Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon Wiki

The Gebauer machine gun was originally an machine gun design for aircraft to replace the heavy Schwarzlose M. 7. The first model was a motor driven machine gun, powered by the engine of the aircraft. The third model (34.M) was not motor driven so it could be in other positions. In the interwar era the Gebauer machine gun was also adopted by the army and navy in their vehicles. In 1930s it was trialed by the Royal Airforce but was rejected for being complicated and unreliable.
