The TOG-2 is a British heavy tank at 80 tonnes. Development of the TOG design started in 1939 in anticipation that the trench warfare of the Great War would return. It resembles first world war designs such as the Mark V tank more than contemporary designs as it was designed by a group informally called "The old gang" that had been active since WWI which gave this tank its name. While the TOG tank itself was only used in trials it influenced the Churchill tank design, which also had a well-armoured long and narrow hull. Tracks and suspension system also allowed to climb steeps slopes and move at a steady albeit slow pace. The first version of the Churchill tank like the TOG tanks had a 3 inch howitzer in the front which was removed in subsequent versions of the Churchill. Like the Kangaroo variant of it the TOG can act as a spawn point depending on the map.

The tank was first ready in 1943 but at that point it was declared obsolete, in FHSW it is one of the earliest designs featuring the powerful 17 pounder gun. On maps set in 1942 and '43 it serves as a counterpart to the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger. It is featured in maps such as Westminster, Tunis, Sand Storm and Operation Goodwood.

The turret design was later reused for the Challenger cruiser tank, that combined it with the mobility of the Cromwell to add firepower to the mobile cruiser tanks. The TOG-1 had the same turret as the Matilda II.

The TOG-3 is essentially the same, speed is the same but has even more armour bolted on which is most noticeable on the turret which gives it a different silhouette.

The 4.25 inch recoilless gun is unique to the TOG-2 and 3. The roughly 108mm caliber projectile does great work against armour and can damage through cover.

Many different weapons were proposed to fitted in the TOG-2 tank, including recoilless guns. FHSWman modelled this version of the TOG-2 and TOG-3 using the Churchill Mk.III with the "Ardeer Aggie" Mortar as reference. Unlike the Churchill AVRE the gun could be loaded from the inside of the turret but the exhaust at the back meant that gun elevation & deppression was limited and could cause friendly fire accidents.
