"Destroyer Escort"-344 Obberrender was a ship of the Jonh C. Butler class, it was used by the US navy from late spring 1944 until it was sunk in 1945. While on anti-submarine patrol duty it was fatally damaged by a kamikaze attack. Its primary service was on convoy escort duty.
Present on Operation Da as naval support for the Australian force. It is unclear whether it represents US support or it is supposed to be crewed by australians.
